Ok, why do I made this video? ..Because not everyone understood the meaning of this painting.
It is very important for me to be clear because I consider this a very important topic.
Italy, a few months ago, decided to promote the initiative of nuclear powerin this with campaign:
The white pieces are in favor of nuclear power, and the black pieces are opposed to nuclear power.
Right away I thought to using children who are victims of a nuclear future. After, I seeing this Italian spot I decided to put the white pieces (the white pieces are used by pro-nuclear the man)I finally I decided to trap children in a typical network used to delimit the nuclear power plants area.This is the result of two months of work:(sorry for my bad English)
Trapped like a net in their present, are holding the legacy of our past,carrying on their shoulders a burden not suitable for their future.

Tutti conoscete lo spot trasmesso in tv qualche mese fa dal Forum Nucleare bloccato poi per la sua dubbia neutralità.
L'idea di "Bad Future" partiva con l'intenzione di utilizzare dei bambini per poter rappresentare una generazione futura resa radioattiva dalle nostre mani.
Nello stesso periodo in cui iniziava la realizzazione del quadro le reti iniziavano a trasmettere la pubblicità del Forum Nucleare Italiano di cui parlo qui sopra.
Così, all'idea iniziale si aggiungeva quella di rappresentare in mano di ciascun bambino una pedina che identificasse la storia di ciascun di loro. Gli scacchi hanno un forte significato ed anche ogni pezzo ne possiede uno.
Le pedine tenute in mano dalla futura generazione non potevano che essere bianche, come quelle tenute in mano dall'uomo pro-nucleare, simbolo del fardello che lasciamo in eredità ai nostri discendenti, quelli che sono i nostri figli e nipoti.
Intrappolati, come in una rete nel loro presente, tengono in mano l'eredità del nostro passato portando sulle spalle un fardello non adatto al loro futuro.
